About Nipun Arora

I am an assistant professor in the mechanical engineering department at IIT Jodhpur since October 2019. Prior to that, I worked as a senior member in the aerospace and automobile CFD simulation division at Sankhya Sutra Labs Private Limited. I did my postdoctoral research at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. I completed my M. Tech and Ph. D. at IIT Delhi in 2013 and 2017, respectively. I received my B.E. from Delhi College of Engineering (now DTU) in 2011. My doctoral work was directed towards the development of a fluid-structure interaction framework for moving boundary simulations to examine the unsteady aerodynamics and propulsion performance of biological flyers. This study is expected to facilitate the design and analysis of realistic and bio-inspired micro-air vehicles (MAVs).
